Oh god, I can't remember. Usually my head starts flooding with thoughts of things I need to do that day or things I was contemplating so much the night before. Usually I'm thinking, "God, I need more sleep...".

My family (even the members I don't care for very much). They are my support system and links to my past, present, and future. They remind me of where I came from, who I am today, and where I want to go from here. Both my parents are immigrants and their families are far overseas, so I feel like my immediate family is all I have in terms of relatives.

People are generally looking for their purpose in life, or any purpose at all. My reactionary response to this question is MONEY, which is true because money equals security to lot of degrees, and we all want to be safe and secure. I wonder what life would be like if we all didn't have to worry about money. I think we'd still worry about other things, things which are prevalent and have been prevalent in society. Murder, robery, war, injustice... most often, it seems, money and greed are at the core of these problems, but I have a feeling they would still be there even without the seed of money.
I like to think I know what I want, but often times I find myself asking, "What DO you want?" and it amazes me that it's so hard for me to think of an answer. I know that I DO want money and I never want to have to worry about providing for myself or loved ones ever again. When I was a kid, I thought i knew what I wanted to be as an adult, but like most of us, that tends to change as we grow older.
People want to be loved. I wonder if people want to love, because I often hear people say they are afraid to love and open their hearts to people. So I wonder if everyone would be content to just BE loved- to have that feeling of comfort and emotional security. Not unlike money really.

Ok I'm sorry, but this is one of those ultra foo-foo questions. First of all, the whole concept of enlightenment is very subjective and vague, so therefore it's hard to answer. What IS enlightenment? To me? To everybody? That's like asking, "What will heaven be like?"
I'm still not clear about what it means to be enlightened, so I can't really answer this question. Dictionary.com defines "enlighten" to mean " to give intellectual or spiritual light to; instruct; impart knowledge to". Spiritual light? What is that? I don't know why I have such a hold-up on this word. I think it's a beautiful word, and the meaning of it is something positive and revelation-like, but it's just one of those vague words that's different to everybody.

Will I ever be financially secure?
Will I ever have a millionaire mind?
Will I ever have all that I desire?
Will I ever be fluent in all the languages I want to be?
What kind of job will I obtain?
What am I going to do after graduation?
Will I ever NOT worry about money???
Will people ever stop discriminating against each other?
When will all the homophobes out there be considered relics of the past?

I would REALLY like someone to help me in the area of finances and being an innovative leader. I've been wanting someone who is abundant in all aspects of his/her life, to come and mentor me and teach me all that they know.
What would it be like if I could give that to myself? I'm struggling trying to find out HOW I can give that to myself. HOW? I figure I need to take business classes at college and study and learn from rich people in history. But I just feel like there is so much I don't know, and that I have such a hard time absorbing all this information. I just want someone to talk with me face to face and explain and show me how THEY came to be so successful and achieving all that they desire. I suppose that, if I learned all this myself, it would build me into a more resourceful person. But it's always good to have an effective teacher or mentor in life.
