I always liked to dress up either as a ninja or a vampire for Halloween. In my older age now, I'm pretty cool with dressing up as anything.

Usually when someone pays me a compliment, or I accomplish something tremendous. I think my self-confidence is largely inflated by what others say, but at the same time I've learned to boost my self-confidence on my own over the years. Sometimes I don't think I give myself enough credit when I accomplish something.

I know a lot of caring people; it's hard to pick out just one. I'd say that my mom is one of the most caring person I have known all my life.

I find spirituality in my chanting. It's like meditation for me, and I feel grounded when I do it. I can't think of any other areas where i feel "spiritual" in my life, unless i'm looking at something so beautiful and breathtaking, or I'm totally in the moment and enjoying every minute of it. Could that be counted as spiritual? Maybe just really emotional?

What is the difference between general freedom and personal freedom?
I would take them to mean the same thing. Personal freedom means you are free from persecution, discrimination, hypercontrol over your actions...

The only real community I have is my network of friends. I wish I belonged to a stronger, tighter community like the Irish or Asian commuinty. I know I can get involved in the local Buddhist community, but I don't like to become too involved in reglious communities, because there are lot of zealots out there.
Community is great mainly for its connections; I mean, I think people view communities as famililies, and I'm sure I unknowingly belong to a couple other communities (i.e. the lgbt community), but I think communities can weigh you down at times. I've seen religious communities repress so many people, and I don't like that.

I would be in Baltimore with my friend Tom- he makes me feel so safe and protected, and I really need to feel that, and his affection, right now.

Gosh I can't remember... I usually whisper when I chant sometimes, but for the most part I don't hardly whisper anymore. I think we do that more as kids, when wo don't realize how rude it is to exclude someone from a conversation.

I would study either business or something technology-related. I'm happy with my choice majoring in foreign languages, but I wish I had also double majored in one of the previous areas of study. Then I could apply it more in more productive areas.

I mean really, there is no difference between the two, and if there is, it's a very slight difference. Your wellbeing or wellness is more geared towards your emotional health, but then again, people can refer to that kind of health when they talk about health in general....but when people ask, "How's your health?", I think they strictly mean your physical health, and are not referring to your emotional health- your wellness. You rarely hear people ask each other if they are well.
So yeah, looks like wellness is geared more towards one's emotional state. Maybe I should start asking people if they are well? Hehe.

Hard to say- it wasn't a big revelation that other people practiced different faiths than I did. I grew up in a very diverse community, so everyone was pretty open-minded about each other.
I remember having to learn the different religions in school for history and that was very educational.

I really haven't been paying much attention to current events. I'just been so wrapped up in moving and finding a job, that I've just shut everything else out. Although sometimes I think it would be good for me to read about what's going on, to distract myself or take focus away from my current stress.
