Gosh there are so many things I would like to be the best at...
-singing
-breakdancing
-gymnastics
-writing
Ok, so I guess it's just those 4, hehe. I would love to be one of the best singers in the world, because I love touching peoples' hearts with voice and I love getting that tingling sensation run down my body when I hear a great singing voice.

My room- it's my own cave, my escape from the rest of the world. I found that, when I was living with my boyfriend, and I would visit family and sleep alone, I would find myself missing that personal space that I could escape to at the end of the day. I think it's important we all have a place that's soaked in our essence, or at least affords us some privacy.

That would have to be TOM in Maryland! I love chatting with him and I can't wait to meet him. We just connected very deeply, and I'm excited to see how much we connect & interact in person.

Chanting. It helps me quiet my mind and re-focus on my goals and things that are important to me. I get antsy if I don't do it for a few days, as I think it grounds me as well.

Gosh, so many things...But I think the one thing i would most like to see changed in the world is the invention of teleportation. My family is spread out over the whole world, and I wish we had more chances of seeing each other, supporting each other while growing up. Plus it would be so economical for the world, and probably less-damaging on the environment.

I have a hard time having compassion for people who use or follow religious doctrines to go so far as to discriminate against others or push their own politcal agenda's. I am a pretty empathetic person and I am pretty compassionate with lots of people, except people who discriminate so much.

Probably Seattle, Ireland, or New York. Somewhere urban, with changing seasons and a bustling culture with great public transit. Family is also a great plus, and would be a drawing factor for Seattle and Ireland. I figure though, that the more urban a place is, the more open-minded the people are, and the more diversity you will be able to encounter and appreciate.

Really, all it takes is one person to find something very important to them, for it to be sacred. A cross on the side of the road, memorializing a dead relative or close friend, can be sacred... a piece of drift wood used by brothers as a sword for play when they were children...a trinket, a ticket receipt...it's all in the eye of the beholder, so to speak.

My father, I suppose, but he's only surprised me once in my life. When my parents divorced, and my mom and siblings moved out of the house, my dad broke down in front of me, explaining that he'd been jealous of me because my birth took away time from him and my mother, and how he was sorry, and how he wants to drink sake with me when I came of age (Japanese thing)...just a lot of things, and it was very emotional. I had never seen him cry like that before.
But really, most people don't surprise me by their actions. Life's not a movie, where people have epiphanies all the time and committ extraordinarily uncharacteristic behavior. Once you have someone pegged, it seems they don't surprise you. But I hope to see differently (in terms of good things).

How people can make these shitty movies (Mega Shark vs. Octupus, Frankenfish, Boa vs Python), when there are serious issues like cancer, AIDS, hunger, etc. that better deserve that wasted money that went into the production of those pieces of shit.

I think 25 is one of those ages where nobody really has a preconceived notion of how they should act. 25 is one of those intermediary ages, where you're trying to figure out where to go in life. I certainly like to act a lot younger than I am, in terms of energy and spontaneity, but in terms of maturity, of course i try to be as mature as I can.

I don't shift gears in life that often, mainly because I don't like major changes in my life. I just made a major shift by moving back to Seattle after 5 years of being in Alaska. It's such a jolt to my system- getting reacclimated to this city again and a new address.
I think I could shift gears in life more easily if I had a home, or a safe haven I could come home to everyday. That's a really important part of my daily life.

I usually watch a movie or play a video game...read a book maybe. It all depends on what's available to me. I used to watch movies ALL the time, but lately I'm losing interest in that. I would love to do something productive, like produce art or great literature.

Power. Wow, that's a really good question. Power is control- control over something or someone. When I think of someone powerful, I think of a president or leader of a country. They have more "power" to make certain decisions and have them carried out. Power equals trust too. A country wouldn't trust a leader and give him/her power unless they trusted them to fulfill their wishes (or were oppressed).

Haha! Love the question.
I would say I'm exactly like the weather outside- autumn. I feel crisp, I feel like my colors are changing...just lots of change in my life right now, as is the season of autumn. Leaves of my old life are falling away, and while I feel scared to be bare or void of my natural or normal colors, I look forward to blooming soon.

Hip hop dancing- I never have to think about it, and choreography comes really naturally to me.
I have a knack for picking up and immitating accents or certain sounds.
Telling the truth comes pretty easily to me; I guess for some people it doesn't.

EXTREMELY. I am blessed with an awesome family (not that we don't have our disfuncional moments & situations), great friends, living in a diverse location...having met wonderful people throughout life, not having had any major deaths in my family or close circle of friends...a wonderful first partner, great health... I feel so fortunate, and I only intend to increase my good fortune and those around me!!!

A museum of dreams. If we could somehow find a way to capture or record our dreams, I think it would be so awesome/bizarre/scary/insightful to see not only OUR dreams, but those of others. I imagine it to be full of strange sounds, sights and possibly emotions.
